I love it so much - the memory of my grandma and “aunt” Rita, and the thought my husband put into it. When it was recut an internal flaw was uncovered and we changed to a different sapphire. Over time I’ve come to appreciate that making it more unique and didn’t want it stuck in a jewelry box alone and unset, so I took 3 gold chains that had belonged to my Mom (one had been her Mom’s) that were broken when she passed and had them melted for a pendant I designed.<br /> We used lab diamonds of E/VS color/clarity and I treasure it :)<br /> That was some run on sentence, eh? lol!</p> <p>I will get the post with the boots y’all offered advice on up soon.<br /> I tried once but wasn’t happy with the pics.</p> <p>Anyway, I’d love to know of pieces other people have created or any particularly meaningful pieces. </p>
