Living in the music-major world I just assume everyone knows. A senior recital is the culmination of my degree in “Vocal Performance and Pedagogy” (pedagogy is the art of teaching). My senior recital is where I get up on stage and sing for about an hour. I'm doing all kinds of music from Bach to Broadway.</p> <p>Because I'll be on stage, I can't really carry a clutch, at least not on the stage with me. I do think the suggestions about the earrings are great though. I hadn't noticed that the model isn't wearing a necklace, but you ladies made a great point. I will probably wear my hair down. I'm not sure yet. And I know I need to get it cut since my hair comes half way down my back, and that just doesn't look modern enough for this dress.</p> <p>Oh, and one more thing, my teacher and I have decided to move the recital to September. Will red still be a good color this fall? It’s a red sleeveless, floor length formal with asymmetrical gathering at the waist and top. I’ve wanted a red gown for so long, so I’m thrilled to have it.
