But I hear you on the waning light--the pool was closing at 8 every night, but now that it's dark before 7:30, it's only open til 6. Even that is just for the next couple weeks, and then it's indoor pools for the winter. Sunday I swam 1200 and then lay on the pool deck for a while, enjoying the 74 degree "heat". Today and tomorrow highs are around 60.
