DD, age 19, was really steamed b/c she was disenfranchised. She requested an absentee ballot THREE (3) times and was never sent one. After the second request she even called and was told to request again online. She took the time to research and complete her sample ballot. Too bad because her vote could have really made a difference in the local and maybe state elections. She is attending college out of state, so she can't just pop into the polling place to vote. Now she will have to re-register since she did not vote in the general election. </p> <p>She is on some rolls, however, because she sure received all that campaign *literature*, and yesterday she got her second jury summons. </p>
