I've used them several times and been pretty happy with it. I think I've sold 4-5 times with them. I've always taken the store credit because I've seen a lot of clothes I like on there and a fair amount of what I post has been from them.

I was the one who posted about them a few weeks ago. I've been really satisfied with both selling and buying from them. There have been a couple things I was surprised they didn't want, but for the most part I've gotten about five bucks an item in average. I've opted for PayPal or store credit and that's worked great.

Buying, too, has been good - everything was as described and the returns I made for sizing issues did take a few days to process, but the refunds were prompt enough.

Plus, a little selfish reason I like them - shipping to and from them is super fast for me since they are only an hour away - a nice change for us west coast folks.

Yes! I've sent them items twice already and the first time they purchased 11 items and I received $55, and the second time they purchased 7 items and I received $30 something. LOVE it. Free shipping, instant payment via Paypal... really couldn't have better things to say about them. I ordered another bag and will be sending them more as I continue culling my closet.

I hope this works well for you. I haven't tried consigning before but will keep my eyes on this post to see how you make out.

Sandy, I am hoping that I won't be purging at the rate I have been up to this point! I'd like to think that I am shopping smarter and will be holding on to my things a little longer.

Assuming that I get the check as promised (7-10 days) I would use them again. It took about 8 or 9 days (from the day I dropped my bag at the post office) to see my offer posted. And they listed a reason for the 3 pieces for which they did not make an offer. It looks like a pretty well run operation.

Susie, I sent 22 items to them last week but haven't heard yet. I love that you can send out of season items and requested a second bag.

My local consignment shop has become selective and fashion-forward. it takes work getting items ready to consign there (dry cleaned, on hangers, high end, very current season, take them in good weather) and it's always uncertain what they will 'like'. The selection process is fuzzy, I lose energy and enthusiasm, and carrying home unchosen yet perfectly nice items takes more energy and leaves a vague disappointment. The shop pays consigners 40% of the selling price and prices items about 50% of retail. So my take is 20% of the retail price for a high end item.

Re Twice, I'm okay with the donation and aside from a lot of laundry before packing the bag, it was kinda fun. I wouldn't send very expensive items to them but for my usual stuff it seems an easy alternative.

Let me know if you are going to continue with Twice.

Someone here- and I'm very sorry but I forget who it was- posted about Twice, the online re-seller.

We don't have many consignment shops here. The one that seems popular has a very narrow window for accepting items- like Tuesday from 10-12 and they only take a certain number before they say that's it for the day. So I've never bothered with it.

So I decided to try Twice. I ordered a free bag to send in my stuff. I sent 20 items, that were all from their approved brands list. With the things that they don't take, they donate them to Goodwill, which is where I normally take my things anyway.

They accepted 17 of my items for a total of $100. Now that's only about $6 per item but at least it's something. I opted to get a check but if you take it in credit, they give you an additional 25%.

Has anyone else used this?
