This is one of the biggest problems I have with dresses, in particular. I want them in natural fibers! So yes. Saving this thread.

Dee, JJill runs quite large, but I. Don't know about petite sizes. I am about a 4-6 right now in most brands and everything at JJill is too large. I am also curve-less and they may design for the curvy figure.

Wow, thanks everyone! These are some fantastic options!

MG, let me know your review of JJill when you get it. They do have a store in town but I've never purchased anything.

Greyscale, I wish I could just buy EF *everything* for the summer. I've never bought anything by Uniqlo but I always hear such good things about them, maybe I should give it a try.

Astrid, I hadn't heard of most of the sites your suggested so I will definitely spend some time looking through them today. The first poetry fashion one is gorgeous.

And Inge, you are a rockstar! What a great range of styles/colors/patterns! Thank you so much. And I agree that natural fibers are generally pricier but I am trying for quality over quantity, so if I can find a couple that are well made and comfortable, I think it will be worth it. I've just been having trouble even finding options in the local shops.

Astrid - Yes! You really have to check the info for the lining too. It makes no sense at all to do a natural fibre dress with a polyester lining, doesn't it-((
Also: many cotton, silk and linen frocks are on the expensive side...

I found some more:

Great choices Inge! Boden is definitely worth a look, although it seemed to me that they are offering more and more of their dresses and skirts lined in polyester. Which defeats the point of a cotton or linen blend outer fabric IMO.

Here are some Boden dresses too (most of them are available in other patterns and colours too, and you have to see them on the model to get a better feel of how they look on).
There are plenty of other options on their website.

Uniqlo has some cute cotton and/or linen dresses right now - one below in finds, but lots of other options too.

There was a post recently where many of us lamented the prevalence of polyester, especially in warmer weather. Well, summer is here! When it's this hot, I love wearing easy, breezy dresses but natural fiber options seem scarce, so I wanted to start a thread for similarly minded fabbers to post their natural fiber links and finds. I've been on the lookout for anything cotton/linen/silk and have seen a few cute 100% cotton shift and fit-and-flares recently at GAP. But that's about all I've seen, so if you have any suggestions, please post them here!
