I love using inexpensive makeup if it works. I use the volumizer first, let it dry just a little, and then use the Anastasia pencil to fill in. The volumizer does not add any volume per se, but it coats every individual hair with just enough color for me to see where they are instead of just guessing and drawing lines where I THINK they are. <br />The Anastasia pencil is also great, I'm sold!&nbsp;</p> <p>Thanks so much for the recommendations!</p> <p>I found the volumizer at Ulta. When 2 different Anastasia pencils broke spontaneously before their time was up, I switched loyalties.</p> <p>I think I would prefer a brow mascara for ease of application (my brows are still there, and nicely shaped, just invisible!). But I can't find one in a taupe that suits my brunette colouring and grey hair; they are all too yellowish blonde for me. When I was younger I was less into makeup and didn't care. I now wear subtle makeup daily because I like the polished look. </p> <p>I've been using a sephora retractable waterproof brow pencil, but it seems to wear off on the outer part of my brown after about half a day, even if I'm not doing anything obvious to cause it. I do also wear foundation mixed with tinted moisturizer so maybe that's part of the cause. I prefer a dewy look so I don't want to put&nbsp;face powder everywhere although I could try it on my brows to see if it helps. </p> <p>Do any of you know of eyebrow products that have staying power?
