In their place, I bought another type of Ecco sneaker (the ones with the little black tab). The seam is a bit more forward on the toe than the 7 which was more comfortable. DD was a pair of the 7s that she wears every day. My citron ones are 39 and my white and navy ones are 40. Don’t ask. But both fit me well, obviously the 40s are slightly roomier, but not big. I did not change out the inner sole as many seem to, and which may require a bit more space.
