That said I liked the embroidery's scale, type and colors a bit more (as something a bit more different) in the first dress, but you are the only one to decide how you feel in-they are both great potentials! </p> <p>ETA-just went back and saw the cobalt one (which I missed it somehow) and wow, love that even better for the heat. I&nbsp; also want to think about the photos- Staysfit had some excellent thoughts in my first post about what might look good in the photos 10, 20, 30 years hence. I think cobalt will look good with the red ao dai in the first ( tea) ceremony, then she is wearing a simple white wedding dress ( new Vietnamese MIL is a seamstress and is either making it or supervising its making ) which is apparently fitted in the bodice and fuller in the skirt, for the reception event. I found another sleeved dress with floral embroidery. I think I prefer it on me to the one in last weekend’s post but again was not 100% sure. The fabrics are still synthetic and it is still a V-neck though a slightly shallower one. I didn’t buy it as there are several in the company. This time an Australian brand I have owned before, and liked, called Front Page.<br /> After that, I wandered through other shops and found a dress in my now favourite colour, cobalt, which I bought. It is sleeveless so needs covering for the Vietnamese tea ceremony. I will do a new post on it, as has photos taken today. I would wear the cobalt for sure for other things if not the wedding as I just love it plus it was way cheaper.<br /> So here is choice number 2: ( please excuse weird tongue-poking-out in pic 4, didn’t realise until too late!) . I will do a possible choice number 3 post in a bit on the cobalt.
