City Custom Tailors came highly recommended...they can do original hems if the jeans have distressed edges, as well as regular hemming. That's all I've had done there, and have been very happy with the results. They are at 1928 2nd Ave Seattle 98101 (next to the Moore Hotel)
There is a 3 minute parking spot right in front that is almost always open...but mind that it's a one way street going south!

Hi AJ, I've never had any major alterations done, but in case you don't get any other leads... I've taken a few small jobs here: http://seattle.citysearch.com/.....ilors.html
I went there on a recommendation and they did a good job. Their prices seem to be about average. Good luck!

Hmm. Can’t help you out North of Seattle I’m afraid. I’m in Madrona. I know plenty out this way and in Bellevue, or downtown. Perhaps someone else will chime in and help out.

I am wondering if any of the Seattle members can recommend a good, and reasonable priced, tailor. I live in Ballard so anything north of downtown is okay. I've taken a couple of pairs of pants to a woman in Fremont just for hemming but I don't know how good she is to tailor a skirt, for example. Thanks!
