Particularly liking your JCrew outfit in #3 and the hat/scarf pairing in #1. </p> https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/seattle-recap#post-1862461 Tue, 21 Nov 2017 22:39:47 +0000 JuniperGreen 1862461@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ <p>I recently traveled to Seattle for a conference - I wasn't presenting and my industry is not particularly formal so I just stuck to business casual looks that could double up for exploring the city, and that would be comfortable for sitting in cold rooms!&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>Conference was lovely, and a highlight was getting to hear a Nordstrom executive talk about their loyalty program - it was great to hear the many ways they're working to keep customers happy and make shopping fun!</p> <p>These are a few of my outfits, from when I remembered to take photos.</p> <p>1) The CK burgundy rain jacket has been GREAT and is in heavy rotation for my chilly Northeastern US weather - it's easy to layer pieces under it since it's not super fitted.&nbsp; I paired it with my faux fur infinity scarf and cerulean beret and am reminded how much I like adding a bit of frivolity to my outer wear to make cold weather dressing FUN :)&nbsp; Can't see my gray Michael Kors crossbody in this pic, but it's there too and gets a lot of mileage.</p> <p>2) Old Navy dress/tunic over black Uniqlo jeans with my new burgundy ankle booties.&nbsp; I wish I'd brought my black gilet to layer over it... next time!&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>3) Piling on the J Crew to stay warm in frigid conference rooms with a wrap, turtleneck and black leggings with silver mules.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>4) The view from Kerry Park.&nbsp; Striped Loft mock neck, maybe my favorite fall purchase! I later took a ferry to Bainbridge Island and added a cream beanie.&nbsp; Put a lot of miles on my Vince Camuto boots and my feet felt great (just bought a duplicate pair for when they start to show their age).&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>Thanks for reading and for all the outfit inspiration, Fabbers!&nbsp; I had such fun planning these outfits, incorporating Angie's tips and browsing the forum's WIWs!&nbsp; </p>
