Thank you both! Angie, I love that purple hooded trench. I definitely needed an excuse to go to the half yearly anyway!

I too like to wear a hooded trench on weekends. I just purchased the North Face trench in the YLF store and LOVE it. It might be too sporty but thought i'd point it out!

I love a trench and an umbrella for rainy days when I'm working. I gravitate toward dressy looks. But on rainy weekends, my hands are occupied with kids and grocery bags and all that stuff, and I think it would be nice to pop up a hood rather than struggling with an umbrella. However, I don't like masculine styles like traditional slickers. I guess I'd like to find a hooded trench, if there is such a thing.

I ordered this one on overstock
http://www.overstock.com/Cloth.....erralID=NA

but the fabric is stiff and the fit is just as unflattering as the photo, if not more.

I am usually a size XL in outerwear, so I ordered the 1X thinking it would be the same, but it was way too big. I could have fit my 9 year old daughter in there with me. I'm 5'10" and usually order L to XL.

Have you seen a lightweight hooded trench, not in junior sizes, that you think is FAB?

Thanks in advance for the help.
