I saw something similar at Temt the other day, in a short sleeve, but not sure the quality will be good enough if it's something you want to wear often.

Or maybe this one at Bardot? http://www.bardot.com.au/store.....shrug.html

Angie I'm planning to go to Target at the mall tomorrow. I have my fingers crossed.

R+J thanks for the link!

Inge no Benetton or H+M here unfortunately. How I long for the day H+M comes to Australia!!!! You have found so many great options though - I love the FreePeople one on BlueFly in both the fuchsia and the green colour! The revolve and nordies options are also great but the colours not quite as exciting. I'll let you know how I go tomorrow!!!

Hi Tam, I have to run but just wanted to say that I agree with Angie. Cotton will be best for your temperatures, but I found that a cotton-linen mix works quite well too. Do you have a Benetton near you? They had some lovely cardis this Summer here. I bought a striped one, it had long sleeves, but there were plenty of short-sleeved options too.
H&M is worth trying too.

Here are a few I found online, not all are cotton though.

Ah! You’re after cotton weight and fabrication, Tam. The Northern hemisphere is stocked up with wool-everything and puffers at the moment. Have you tried your Target?

The first Express style is the right fabrication. Love it! But a sleeveless cotton style would be best I think. What do you think?

Hi guys,

I fell in love with my drapey cardigan that I ended up wearing so much through the winter/spring. Like here and here and here!

Now that it's warming up I'm searching for a short or sleeveless summery version that I can wear through an Aussie summer (obviously not on 40°C days!!) I'm thinking maybe a simple knit cotton or jersey to keep it cool.

I've only looked on-line so far. Here's a few I've come across. Has anyone seen/tried these on. Especially interested in hearing how "lightweight" they are given that they are being sold during a Northern hemisphere winter season I worry that these ones might be too warm!

http://www.express.com/catalog.....egoryId=20 - 100% cotton, but is it light cotton? Would elbow sleeves be too warm?

http://www.express.com/catalog.....egoryId=20 - Rayon/Nylon/Synthetic/Cashmere - too warm? plus this style looks like it may have TOO MUCH volume

http://www.tulle4us.com/tulle/knits/C9211/ - looks very lightweight. I'd be worrying about sizing though - if they run small I think I would need XL and it is sold out in the purple

http://www.anntaylorloft.com/c.....pe=Regular - wool & polyester = too warm???

http://www.anntaylorloft.com/c.....pe=Regular - Viscose, Cotton, Nylon, Wool - again too warm??

Finally I love the one Angie has put in the new ylf store, but it looks way too warm and toasty!

I'm hoping to go to a mall here tomorrow or the next day to see if any Aussie shops are selling anything like too.

Thanking you shopping & internet sleuths :)
