Case in point -I chose one this year that is navy, and it looked navy on the photo.&nbsp; I took the chance to buy it online (closest Nordstroms is 100 miles away, and no trip in sight). I'm&nbsp;a pear shape&nbsp;but the style is one that would probably work on a lot of&nbsp;figure types.&nbsp; It's tapered in at the waist a little more than shown in the finds&nbsp;below. &nbsp;I liked it enough to duplicate in two colors, but haven't worn both yet. I paid $45 at an expensive tailor (she does mainly formalwear and is located in a very high-rent area) to have the sleeves shortened from the wrist on a leather jacket.
