I know what you mean about needing to balance the masculine and feminine with your pixie -- it is something that is on my mind a lot, having short hair. And I, too, am consciously embracing more femininity in my wardrobe right now. I do love this coat,and I can see it with jeans (even really distressed ones!) and a big wool muffler, and also over a dress with a more refined scarf. I know that this is going to cost a bit, especially if I purchase from an ethical brand. I thought about going the second hand route, but to be honest there just aren't that many great offerings out there in stores and buying online seems quite risky. </p> <p>The coat below is part of the autumn 2015 collection of an ethical clothes retailer. It's 100% pure new wool, lined in modal. It should end just over or at the knees on me. I'm wondering if I should try it. I know that it won't go on markdown until winter is nearly over though, so it has to be perfect for the price if I buy it now.</p> <p>Thoughts? They have free shipping right now, so trying wouldn't cost anything. </p> <p>Any ideas where to look for a truly good quality wool coat otherwise?
