I ordered a pair to try for something different to wear at home , and I’m so glad I did ! Reitman’s , a very mid market chain catering to no-one- knows -exactly - who ( the cause of death of many Canadian chains ) has disappeared from Manitoba but still sells online . The pants were a grand total of $29 and I had very low expectations . Well pardon me . They are terrific pants ! Well made in a great stretch fabric , the plaids even match up properly at critical points. Full elastic waist jogger styling . The colour is maybe a little muted for my own colouring and style but I’m not terribly worried about that . They work best with grey , mustard and pale blue . I wore them yesterday with a grey cashmere sweater ( again 4 years old and no pills ) just around the house - and cuffed up the hems to keep it casual . Today I was less happy with the outfit , but I can’t put my finger on why . Thoughts ? </p> <p>The pants are more flattering on than the photos indicate - at least I hope so . They don’t look so rounded in the belly as these pics suggest . And nor does the tshirt pull across my arms like a sausage . Gah .
