Oooh my sister is a pediatric nurse and she sews her own scrubs. Do you sew?

I have seen some scrub tops that are "surplice" or faux wrap style. But that can be hit or miss depending on body type.

I think this is just one of those things that you have to accept is not going to be the most stylish part of your life.

When I had to buy scrubs I really liked the ones by Dickies, they had a style with boot leg cut and a crossover top. I now wear hospital issued ones.
I bought mine from a surgical supply place, but I think allheart.com is a good place.

Tomorrow I start my first of two "trial" days as a medical receptionist.
If I choose to take the job I'll be having to wear nothing but scrubs as my uniform. I would get a $150/year allowance toward scrubs.
My mom and sis swear by their $9.99 specials catalogs, but I don't want to wear the same plain, boring, boxy shape that they have. I've seen some cute scrubs tops out there, but does anyone have any experience and suggestions for where I should look?
Websites? Catalogs?

Thanks!
