Did you see any interesting birds? </p> https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/sciliy-style#post-1953141 Tue, 04 Sep 2018 15:20:59 +0000 Cardiff girl 1953141@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ <p>I have just returned from our annual family summer holiday.This year we went to the sciliy isles,28 miles off the coast of Cornwall.As usual l consulted the weather forecast daily up until we went away As usual the forecast changed at the last minute necessitating a complete repack!Oh the joys of holidaying in the U.K.<br /> Never mind we had a fabulous time and isles were beautiful.As far asfashion goes the isles are all about the outdoors .Lots and lots of shorts from top of thigh length to knee,cropped trousers for those who didn't want to wear shorts.l only saw one lady in a skirt(maxi)all week.footwear was equally practical,walking shoes and sandals abounded.T shirts with long sleeves and the obligatory raincoat were much in evidence.A few stylish moments stand out in my mind.One was a lady with a fabulous nautical manicure all blue nails with an intricate anchor and rope pattern painted on.The other was a young mum in a stylish black and white striped shorts with black top ,sunnies and straw hat with black band.Other than that it was all about being comfortable as you walked,boated,birdwatcher,surfed etc..and finally as the UK drifts into Autumn I will leave you with some shots taken from Tresco island looking out at the Northern isles. </p>
