I also have a beautiful Hermes scarf that was more like $450 that I reserve for special occasions and holidays. I love mine. The colors are perfect and make my eyes stand out. I have two other Hermes scarves the cost of which I do not recall?? I don't wear them often but the colors are not as flattering. I bought an Hermes scarf when they cost $315--some time in mid-80s. Yes, it was worth it in some ways--I had the pleasure of owning it. I never felt it was really "me" though. I've been thinking of buying another one lately, but while I love the pattern, I'm not sure it is something that I will wear. Maybe hang it on the wall?
