The dress has weighed on my mind and I was thinking that I may return it but I have the confidence to wear it now. So that is good. I'm thinking a few inches, but I will take a photo when I wear it and I'd be grateful for your thoughts. Lovely!  No your glasses don't look dated, in fact they suit you quite well. No, you red scard doesn't seem cowboyish at all, and yes, it looks good with the stripes. Both scarves are so flattering to you. I really wasn't at all sure about the dress when I bought it, as I haven't had anything similar previously. The fit up top is good, and I think that it will look good with my denim jacket. Thank you Dianna, I do like scarfs and try to find ones that go with many items in my wardrobe. Thank you Katerina, you lead the way with scarfs and it is inspiring to see your posts. I got cold feet during the week on wearing scarfs this way, so I thought reassurance from YLF would get me over the issue (it has!). Thank you for the comment on my specs.   Thank you nearly neighbour Cardiff Girl and Amy and Vix. Thank you Efbgen, and Collette. I am pleased with my new weekend bag. Perfect size for me and this won't work at all for work, which suits me as I like to separate weekend and weekday wardrobes. Thank you JAileen and Smittie. Thank you Bijou, yes they are different looks. The first scarf is quite a smart thing really, but because I like it so much, it has been on the occasional long walk with the dogs! Thank you Chris.  I feel better about the green dress now and here is another pic. The scarf will cover the bling on the neck of the jacket. (Makes me wonder if I need new glasses.) I love the colours, and it has had it's last outing for a few months as it has been put way for the summer 2 is a scarf I don't wear very often, it isn't large and I am not really sure how to wear it. May be a bit too much with the stripes? May be a bit cowboy like?  3 is a new dress I have bought for summer, with the bag and scarf that I have to go with it.  Any comments welcome and appreciated.
