Thanks everyone. Having my colors done was actually life changing for me as I had absolutely no idea how to pick colors and my wardrobe had absolutely no cohesion. I had an excellent person do it when I first heard about it. So long ago. And my first step into any of this.
Alas, both my skin and hair color have changed. Most of the colors still work really well but my eye colors and the lighter colors don’t.

I put on a scarf again today and it looked okay. It was a new combination for me. But the bracelet I had put on earlier and loved with my top didn’t look right with it anymore. I’m realizing I generally resonate more with my jewelry than my scarves. Except for a few. Summer scarf purge criteria is getting clearer.

I have a problem with slippery scarves. Today I wore my Turkish one and had to keep fixing it because it’s so slippery. I have a couple cotton gauzy ones that just stay where I put them.

I end up tying my scarf on my bag fairly frequently — it starts on my neck but then I get warm.

I love scarves but find them complicated to wear for all kinds of reasons. I do like the way they add a pop of something to an outfit but I find them uncomfortable most of the time. Tying them on my handbag is an option. Good idea.

Well at least the scarf had a practical application, it kept you cosy and dry. I like the option of wearing a scarf for its coverage properties (whether from the cold or harsh sun) and then taking it off indoors and putting it on my handbag as an accent. I found the scarf wearing challenge tricky too, even though ultimately I think the addition of a scarf improved my outfits.

I have always thought people with mixed colouring were very lucky because then you suit both warm and cool colour combinations. I have always been very envious of those with blue eyes and olive skin. It just shows, we always want what we don't have!

Photos?
I have the same problem with colors that go with my skin tones not being good with my eyes or hair...all different. Eyes are boho earthy tones in brown and gold. Hair is cool colors. Skin is warm mid-tones. I can wear anything and it goes with something but not with other parts. "sigh". Don't bother to have your colors done. An exercise in frustration. If they are honest, they will not come to any decisions on your best colors unless only focused on one aspect of your coloring.

I was determined to wear a scarf today as I like the idea of the scarf challenge, although I really need to do it with my late Spring/Summer clothes.
Determination has it’s pluses and minuses. Plus, it kept my neck warm and dry as my hair was damp. Minus, it pulled out and accentuated perhaps the worse color in the print for my coloring. Note, eye colors don’t necessarily look good with your skin tone. :). And it hid the neckline I like. I almost took the scarf off but it was so cozy I kept it on.
