Shoulder set was off and length was too long. It would need a complete recut. I’m not sure who their audience is because you’d need to really tall, long through the torso and have thicker arms to carry that jacket properly. Weird. But I’m glad I tried it. I did brilliantly w the cinq a sept suit and vince pants (back up pair en route) super comfy. Totally wrong fit.<br /> Janet - I only own two pieces from rag &amp; bone a belt and the Vanessa vest in black leather which I totally had to downsize to a 2 and it’s very fitted but very cool. I looked at the Slade jackets but didn’t try them because they weren’t lined and the neck looked like a cut that might annoy me. Thanks for the heads up. I’m not sure I’d try their jackets again. Clearly I’m not their fit model. Sounds like it just wasn't meant to be.</p> https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/saying-no-to-rb-carmen-tweed#post-2366633 Mon, 29 Jul 2024 19:13:27 +0000 gryffin 2366633@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ <p>Photo was much better than the reality of this jacket.&nbsp; Maybe I am simply the wrong height.&nbsp; At 5'3" size 4 and do better with regular sizes, petite don't fit me.&nbsp; I have long arms and legs so other than hems on super long pants I'm a pretty easy fit.&nbsp; On the plus fabric and fringe was lovely.&nbsp; Jacket was nicely lined.&nbsp; The fabric is light weight and the buttons are too heavy.&nbsp; So the jacket does not like nicely unbuttoned like the photo the edge wants to droop.&nbsp; The shoulders were too big in the size 4.&nbsp; But the fit was totally off.&nbsp; The base jacket hits the model at the hip bone.&nbsp; This was much longer on me.&nbsp; Long sleeves do not begin to describe the fit.&nbsp; Sleeves hit almost the bottom of my finger tips.&nbsp; You can't see clearly in the photo but the sleeves are trumpet, too long and too wide looked super sloppy and the width of the arms felt too big so the whole sleeve set just looked to big over all.&nbsp; I think if you are close to 6' and long limbed and especially if you find sleeves tight in general then this could work for you.&nbsp; Similar jacket was much more flattering on Staysfit but fit was totally off for me.&nbsp; Concept is great but will need to continue the hunt for a light weight cropped tweed.&nbsp; Did love, love, love the fabric and fringe though.&nbsp; But already boxed for transport back. </p>
