The comfy shoes are going back. As much as I hate that, I think I'd constantly be checking to see if my foot was hanging off the edge:-( Now for the good news...the pink shoes are on there way to me! More good news...I also found them on another site in a metallic "mushroom", which looks like a soft gold-pewterish color on my screen. If they are comfortable too I'd keep them. I vote for the pink shoes. They can be worn with non-pink clothes and a neutral bag too, no need to match the shoes to the bag, although you can match when you feel like. I actually envision them with most colors. Probably not pastel colors (too easter-y) or red (too Valentine's day), but other colors should look great with them. I know you have to be careful post-op about shoes, so I also think the tan ones look too small and wide. Seems like the last wouldn't have the arch in the proper place and you'd risk sliding side-to-side once you really started walking-walking vs just trying on. Plus, do you *need* that much foot coverage on top? Less would be lovely and proportionate with your foot shape. For some reason, sandals are proving quite challenging in the fit department this year. Pink sandals as a neutral...that will be my argument;-) Tex, you are so right that comfort is *key*. They don't feel too small, but my eye wants another smidge in the heel. You are the queen of accessory bundles...what else would you include in a bundle with pink sandals? Diane...that's pretty much the conversation I've been having in my head this afternoon;-) Suz, my feet maybe slide forward a hair in motion, but not much. I totally hear you on the tops not matching colorful sneaks. I have one true red top that just won't work with any of these. Angie, that's my concern too. Rabbit, I agree the nude color of the sandals works well for me. On to the pink ones, you bring up a good point. My favorite sandals last year (and they'll be back this year) are a deep coral. I only have one top with anything resembling that color, but I wore those sandals with nearly everything...including a coral bag and some coral lipstick. With the pink shoes, do you wear pink lipstick?  That would be enough of a tie in, and if you have accessories in pink (that works with this particular pink) you should be covered.  When I was trying on pink shoes I wasn't that personally enamored with the print with pink in it worn with pink shoes -- unless maybe it was a dark background color worn with dark jeans rather than a light one? I'd say the size is right if it feels right.  Too bad on the black sandals, they were a good style but not worth hurting feet. I don't go for bright colored sneaks - but I understand that all white can be dull and not always look the most fashion forward. I've been shopping for a new pair but have come up empty so far. When you walk your foot may slide forward some so your heel won't be on the edge. I wouldn't want more room than you're showing in the front/toe area, personally. Sandals are so hard to fit, I know. Pink sandals sound like a neutral to me! Everything is brighter, more colorful in the summer so if they sing to you, go for it! Right now I have two pairs of gear sneaks...one is black with a few stripes, and the other is a bright baby blue.
