Franco Sarto buckles rub my ankle in a bad spot. Splendid needs more volume to fill out the straps and the slapping sound of the zipper as I walk will annoy me. I really wanted the Vince Camuto to work, but my foot won't stay in the VC, no matter how tightly I buckle it, my heel just slides right off the shoe as I walk.</p> <p>Though neither nude (it's much blacker IRL) nor what I think of as a city shoe, the Taos one-step-up-from-gear sandal can stay. There's a place for it in my sandal capsule while I return all these boxes and ponder my next move. Seems like more work than fun this morning.</p>
