The cropped jackets I've seen usually taper to the waist, while the longer ones usually curve in towards the waist. Just chopping off the bottom of a longer jacket looks a bit awkward to my eye. </p> <p>Maybe consider leaving the jacket at its current length and wearing it with pants and straighter skirts? And keep looking for a short jacket for your flared skirts? It is relatively reasonably priced (around $199) - so it does get bumped up to about $250 if I get the tailoring too.&nbsp;</p> <p>To be fair, I'm probably going to wear it open and with scrunchy sleeves - that's just usually how i wear things. I would have to go cardigan-less if I shortened it. </p>
