As you know it's so hard in plus to be stylish. &nbsp;It never even occurred to me to try. &nbsp;Shameful because now that I'm here I see all the cool and chic plus size bloggers and think how much time I wasted! &nbsp;</p> <p>My style has evolved a LOT. &nbsp;I started with wearing what I always wore, but smaller. &nbsp;Then I cut my hair and lightened the color and then EVERYTHING had to change. &nbsp;Pixie cuts should come with a warning label! LOL. &nbsp;Even from all the new clothes I bought I still had to give things away once I realized they didn't work for the NEW me. But I'm getting better.&nbsp;</p> <p>The soft summer thing was a revelation last year when I switched my hair, because it was so obvious my favorites: black and jewel tones weren't working on me anymore. I also have flat feet and I hate high heels so it's a real challenge to find something feminine but comfortable. &nbsp;These fit the bill perfectly! &nbsp;I wore them out of the box to a morning breakfast, straight into a luncheon and back home with only a tiny blister on the side of one toe (which was totally bearable and is no longer an issue). &nbsp;I highly recommend these and have added them to my "stable" of shoe designers I trust. &nbsp;</p> <p>@abc, I have had the Siebels for a few weeks/month now and While they were a bit stiff at first, now that the toe box is broken in I LOVE them. How is the comfort level of the Softt sandals?</p> https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/sale-finds-from-this-fall-le-talbots-j-jill-6pm#post-1540658 Sun, 16 Aug 2015 20:04:40 +0000 Melinda SF 1540658@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ <p>As my second post and a way of getting my finds up and running here's a list of what I picked up this fall. &nbsp;</p> <p>As I discussed in the "stuck" post I've been trying hard to soften my look which tends to run too masculine, boxy, and stuff. &nbsp;So I've been adding more fluidity, more heels, more neutrals, and being bolder with color pairings. &nbsp;</p> <p>I also picked up two &nbsp;mac lipsticks in shades of pink/berry so that there are no excuses, since I find just even a simple swipe of lipstick softens an outfit up. &nbsp;I'm also thinking carefully about jewelry--hard since my specs and hair are so attention getting. &nbsp;since I wear a lot of V necks, multi strand necklaces work well.</p> <p>Next to shop for will be more pointy toe shoes, including ankle straps, more heels in general, and potentially some handbags. &nbsp;I'm eyeing a few in pink, but I don't like to have tons and they need to hold my mac book air, and i don't like to pay too much so it takes time. &nbsp;</p> <p>Also picked up some new running shoes and tights. I am LOVING grey running tights vs black. &nbsp;they just look better!&nbsp; </p> </p> <p>Edit to add; I hope to add Angie's Boden Jacket-along with a nice chambray tunic I got on sale there-- as soon as they arrive and I try them on!!!</p> </p>
