Great minds. I was just going to suggest the short red cardigan with that gorgeous skirt, and others have done so already! I think shorter cardigans and jumpers are trending again, because of the return of the midi skirt. It kind of balances out the proportions. I think the fuller skirt and the red cardigan would be lovely together, and on trend (if that matters to you!)<br />And the bronze - you look terrific! I love the cardi and think you should try it over a blousy top or dress/skirt combo. I think the skirt is fab. You could always toughen it up with different footwear or a denim topper. My version is to try to wear any unworn winter items through the rest of our winter. Our winter is officially 1 June through 31 August, month-based not solstice/equinox based. All our seasons are like that. So there are 2 months left.<br /> Pics 1/2: Friday. First wear this season of: black skivvy ( mock turtleneck to most of you), red cowl neck jumper ( just for you, Cee), and black/silver Veronica Maine pencil skirt. This skirt is beautifully made, fully lined, from 2011 and I hardly wear it. This is only the 8th wear ever. I think it was a mistake. I think it was for a sort of “business woman” persona which is just not me. I also don’t really like skirts. I actually quite liked it on though, this time. Maybe try consignment??<br /> Pics 3/4 Monday. Third wear of new green top and leggings, but I put the old 2000 Monsoon cardigan with it. I love the ribboned flowers but not sure if the cardigan is too short these days. I didn’t wear it at all in 2018. I’m reluctant to give away because of the beautiful flowers, but if I’m not wearing it that’s silly...<br /> Pics 5/6 today. This is a cheat because it’s the second wear of the bronze Sabatini jumper this year. And second wear of the black merino underneath. 69th wear altogether of the 2018 Sills pewter pants. And 12th wear of the 2018 bronze booties.<br /> Thanks for looking. </p>
