Look for something that fits in the shoulder and drops straight down, or in sleeveless versions go straight down from the underarm.<br /> I think the unbelted versions look particularly good on us apple shapes, Maya. The length, material, and style just make it look like a sweater to me. It's a tunic and not a dress. The banded bottom also leaves me cold, and adds to the tunic/top vibe. I would not think to wear it as a dress.
