Those are sort of general rules. Running-specific rules include a snug cut (snug because I find the sound of fabric flapping in the wind distracting; if this is not an issue for you, your options are much wider), half-zip neckline and wrist coverage for cool weather, and preferably also a small back pocket for ID and keys.</p> <p>If you're not allergic to synthetic fibers, I don't see a reason why this wouldn't work.
