I am another who would rather spend less because I'm never sure whether the item will prove its worth until I have worn it for a while. I like either size from the photos so I say go with the one that feels right for you. Maybe try it with various layers underneath to make sure? Given that I'm not into spending top dollar, my shopping strategy has to include knowing when good enough really is good enough. The boots will be good if I don't wear them every day or on long walking outings. The blazer will give me a good look for work, dress or going out. If I find something even more perfect later, well, that is great. That's a very nice looking boot! The idea of keeping two jackets is really tempting, and would not be unaffordable, but I want to try to limit to one.  I think I might want to rebuild a small blazer capsule (I used to live in them) in a variety of styles and colours. I think this one is a good starting point because it will work to dress up jeans but will also allow me to create a "suit" with a few different pairs of black pants or a black skirt.  Next up, something in brown/taupe/stone/navy/olive/tan/toffee.... Booties remind me of my Ariats. Blazer looks great on you. I do prefer the fit of the medium. This blazer looks like it’s meant to be fitted and going too big you really loose that. I’m will tell you I have one similar and I kept 2 sizes one for layering. Is that a possibility. But that’s a really great versatile shape. It’s a knock out on you. Length looks like it would work w skirts and dresses 2 but I think medium would look best. But fantastic!! The blazer isn't super fitted, but it isn't oversized. The medium is right in the shoulder, and it does seem right from the front. The large does feel more relaxed in the back, but I can't bear to photograph it again. I can't focus on the back view too much or I will never get dressed. The large doesn't feel TOO far off, but it might in a few weeks. And I really do think I need a black blazer... Jussie -- I have similar mixed thoughts!!  Jenni -- Nothing makes me happier than when I get something for a great price and wear it to death! I worry a bit that going up to the large will send subliminal messages that I don't trust that I'll be able to correct the weight fluctuation....
