When I was at university I did a similar thing to a favourite dress. My friend and I decided to get creative and deliberately bleached the rest of the dress in sections. Amazingly it turned out really well, a custom designed dress. If you are thinking of getting rid of the skirt, it would be worth trying this. </p> <p>We looked at the original stains and my friend who is artistic, created a stencil for a pattern with which to apply to the entire dress in patches which then formed a nice pattern. She did three stencils, one for the lower part of the dress (a bigger pattern, where the original stain was) and graduating up the dress to a much smaller pattern. I don't want to try to bleach it more to make it look intentional either. I'm heartbroken They were Not sympathetic at all. Kettlewell isn't even making this skirt in this color now so I can't just bite the bullet and replace. </p>
