My mom and mother-in-law are coming over to watch it with me. I promised my seven-year-old daughter I'd wake her up too, although it remains to be seen if she can stay awake! </p> <p>I got up in the middle of the night to watch Prince Charles and Lady Diana get married when I was nine. I'm not a huge follower of the royal family, but it was fun and memorable to watch history being made. So I am guessing your royal wedding could have a fantastic flow on effect for the UK economy, as well. It's nice to be at the forefront of everyone's minds for such a happy reason!</p> <p>We were here for the Swedish royal wedding last year, and the atmosphere was wonderful (even though Denmark and Sweden are traditional rivals!). I do think that they make a lovely couple, which is why people are so excited and want to be part of the celebrations. It is nice to see that they have been able to add a personal touch to their wedding as well as fulfilling their obligations as future King and Queen.</p> <p>We get a day off on Friday and lots of people are having street parties to celebrate.
