I do have the London fly bagu boots in navy but they aren’t water resistant. Do they are nice day only because I need them to last. I love the look and they are pretty for sure and neat on the foot. The color was lovely. We so wish they worked for me.<br /> Angie - as above. Very pretty so even more disappointing. But here’s where preference, fit, feet diverge widely. There is a magic when shoe brands fit and feel good. Like slipping into a jacket that fits plumb. The immediate recognition of right. I’m sure this bootie could be wonderful for someone else. That’s why I try and be specific in the details. But it just didn’t work for me and obviously for a couple of others. As you say, horses for courses. And hopefully when they get back to nordies central the next buyer will find them the perfect fit.<br /> Suz - it’s a new brand for me too. I also wonder sometimes that the NAS offering may be special inre quality. But feet are different. For someone with a bunion the soft fabric might be a gift from god. So you never know.<br /> Kathie - I am totally guilty of full on fomo with NAS. That’s why 3 items only. But ok since the RW are going back I did order the pikolinos as I do well with the brand and they should be fall work horses. I had another client in them yesterday and she loved them. Very comfy for her! &nbsp;The taupe option has fab stitching on the heels too.&nbsp;</p> <p>In my experience, Aquatalias can be hard and narrow at times, and SW too. I appreciate that these are softer and more forgiving on the foot, IYKWIM. They work well on a particular type of foot and for a casual sensibility, it seems! GOOD that you knew right away these will not work. Glad it was an easy decision at least.&nbsp; </p> https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/ron-white-gina-bootie-review#post-2271772 Thu, 14 Jul 2022 18:54:05 +0000 gryffin 2271772@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ <p>To date there are two reviews on the nordstrom site about these booties, both negative and I have to agree with both of them.&nbsp; The good, the booties are very pretty out of the box.&nbsp; The color lovely.&nbsp; The material is like an ultrasuede.&nbsp; It's thin with little body.&nbsp; There is good cushioning in the foot bed, but the heel cup is very hard and the heel itself feels like plastic as does the heel base, there is a traction tread on the front of the shoe.&nbsp; I'm a true 7 and got the 37.5 which is listed as a 7.&nbsp; I usually take european size 37.&nbsp; I found it a little long and my heel was slipping.&nbsp; But I must agree with the other reviewers.&nbsp; This is not a $450 boot, this is not a $329 boot.&nbsp; I'd compare the quality to a spring step bootie and I will preface I don't buy that brand due to the plastic heel and materials.&nbsp; Needless to say it's arrived and was immediately packed up.&nbsp; zipper works well and looks are cute and neat on the foot as long as you are okay with the material but at that price point you can buy SW, aquatalia, paul green or you can get 1.5 to 2 pairs of blondo or pikolinos.&nbsp; Perhaps the other colors are better made but I could not box them up fast enough.&nbsp; Also they were big including a 3/4 orthotic.&nbsp; So sorry guys but that's my real opinion.... </p>
