I was dressed more or less fine. There was a downpour directly after the arrival at the airport there which made me worry that I had packed the wrong shoes, but that was the only time it was raining that badly. I was fine with the wool coat, although I sometimes had to carry it over my arm in the sun because it was quite warm. I didn't wear the skirt at all, but I wore the dress twice and jeans on the rest of the days. I was fine with the tops I had, but I washed my underlayers in the sink - same as my socks because I wore tights less often than I thought. And I totally loved my backpack, it's really awesome for travel. Another favourite was the pink scarf - I ended up wearing it everyday and it added some lovely color and packed away well into the backpack. I think I'll pack the skirt, even if I only end up wearing it with the wool pullover. Or I could do the Hogwarts tee with it too I guess. I actually hadn't thought about a hat and gloves no. It's rather warm and I only ever wear hats when it's snowing or below zero and it's going to be much warmer. But my coat has nice big pockets where you can keep your hands warm! Although I might take my cashmere wristwarmers - with them you can still use phone and camera without a problem. And I don't think I'd need to wash without the turtleneck - I'd still have two tees (plus cardigan), one wool pullover, the longsleeved tee plus the dress (with cardigan). And I definitely plan to rewear stuff. I might wash my underlayers in the sink though. </p> <p>And thanks on the tee... Both are basically slim fit / relaxed skinnies. The turtleneck is a rather slouchy fit which I don't like as much. But the bigger problem is that the neck is slightly too long for me which makes me fuss. I also have another breton shirt I could take instead, but that one wouldn't work with the skirt. But maybe I don't need the skirt anyway with two pair of jeans. I can always rewear the dress. Oh and I'm going to wear the jeans with the wool pullover to start with.</p> <p>(These pics were taken with my phone and the sun was out. I think if you imagine the colors toned down a bit but more vibrant than my WIWs you have it right.) </p>
