I actually did use a puffer vest over a 1.blazer/2. denim jacket 2 days in a row this week for work- I really find a puffer vest  usefull for  adding warmth driving a by cool car -if you don't want to put on a regular coat-and love having arms free of heavy layers like when puting on a coat.
