Clearly they respond to customer request since that’s what drove the new shorter length. Limited stock, so no M in black for me. They have redesigned it 5” shorter and added a pocket. That may kill it for me but will make it more appealing to those ladies who are shorter or with shorter legs. I have to measure to be sure. It may hit my knee, which would be ok, but I like the extra bit of length to actually *cover* the knee.</p> <p>Glad I bought the ones I did, when I did. I’m a little bummed I never pulled the trigger on a solid black one. Oh well. Taller ladies may be shut out of a knee-covering length now unless you want a maxi worn as a midi (Length 4). </p>
