I think cropped pants can work well with boots in general (I saw lots of that in Germany last fall and it looked very stylish) but this particular style doesn't quite work for me, it might be due to the cuff and the visual "chopping" effect. I love the boots!!! The cropped pants are narrow enough for the boots. But I think they are too narrow to go over-- tucked is better. I can't really comment on the whole cropped pants over boots look in general but these boots with the buckle were meant for tucking.
