Does the site you are buying from give you the garment's measurements? I find this really helps me to understand how an item will fit on me. I love the AD coat even more than the Rick Owens one - so good luck with buying this item. Don't settle for something that does not fit perfectly - as the right coat is out there.

The AD coat is also gorgeous. I usually stay with my normal size in whatever brand unless reviews say differently.

Thank you! I'm going to try this Ann Demeulemeester coat next. I'm also hitting the gym quite a bit after taking a long break. Wondering if should try the size 8 for this one..does anyone recommend sizing up or sticking to their dress/pants size for coats? Thanks again for all of the advice!

Fab coat but agree with Angie - coat arms that don't fit are problematic. Rick Owens runs tight in the arms!

I vote pass, as lovely as the coat is. This one looks snug on the upper arm and on the hips when buttoned up. A larger size will drown your upper torso.

Onto the next fabulous coat, and good luck.

I could use some help. I fell in love with this coat online and ordered it in my normal size us6 (sometimes us8.) just wondering if sizing up will make the coat look too big and baggy everywhere else- the us 6 is definitely snug in the arm area. I did notice that the cut in another coat I'm interested in (by Anne Demeulemeester) has a similar cut so I'm worried I might have the same problem. Should I try switching this for a size up or give up on this one? Maybe the cut just isn't for me.
