It's a gorgeous color on you! You have a lovely figure and I would not worry about your tummy at all. Like others said, so long as you feel comfortable that's all that matters. I vote that it's a keeper though.

As far as the neckline goes- you can always top it off with a pretty scarf while the weather is still chilly. I think it is a charming scoop though and certainly doesn't appear too low in the photos.

Very pretty color and neckline on you! Yes, play around with a different belt - any chance you have a wider softer one? If the tummy still bothers you, you can always try a Spanx type undergarment -- but you are plenty slim already :-)

I hope you figure a way to keep AND wear!

I think it's pretty too. The cut is flattering on you. If you're worried about paler skin on your chest, could you try a little self tanner?

I like the neckline and your skin is pretty so don't worry about showing it! I wouldn't put a tank under it. Tummy looks fine to me but play around with no belt just for fun.

The belt is causing your tummy concerns. does it need a belt? How does it look without?

Ooh, such a pretty color on you! I actually really love the neckline, don't think it is too low at all. Also agree with the others about the fit in the tummy area - nothing to be concerned about.

Its a hot look on you! Fix up the bra to give yourself a boost and play around with the belt if you wish. Looks great as is, or you can try wider belt just to change it up a bit. The dress is a keeper.

I had a similar issue with a dress I posted a long time ago, when I first signed up on the forum. I ended up returning it because I knew I would not feel comfortable in it. I cannot bear even the slightest sight of tummy. It just depends on your comfort level. If you're not going to wear it, then don't keep it and let it become an orphan.

But for what it's worth, I think it looks great. I think the scoop looks fine too. A cami would probably ruin the neckline.

Yes, I agree with LeahJanes r.e. the fitted dress/tummy. It's normal and looks great! I didn't see this as low cut at all from the photo, but if you are not comfortable just throw a fitted cami under it in a similar color.

Bianca, thanks!

LeahJanes, i guess the unattractive thing about the scoop is that it's low enough that you see...paler skin since I don't usually wear tops that low.

And I actually do agree with you about the tummy, but I guess to me it looked in the picture like it was protruding...the dress does look better with a belt, but I should probably play with it. Now that I think about it, the issue might actually be my bra...probably need to adjust the straps some (and get better fitting bras overall).

Thanks for the feedback!

It's gorgeous, the neck is certainly scooped but I don't think it's too low.

Also, am I alone in thinking a little bit of tummy in fitted dresses contributes to looking curvier and more womanly? I think you look so lovely here - tummy certainly doesn't look like it protrudes any. Maybe removing the belt would make your front look more flat if you're worried. But I don't think you need to be, it's a very nice dress, and I love it with the belt and boots.

the ribbon ravine dress I posted about earlier arrived last week, but I was away from my apartment so I didn't get a chance to try it on until today. Here it is! I have mixed feelings about it. It's a great color (maybe doesn't show up so well here) and is very comfy, but I'm not sure about the cut...it's more low cut than I thought it would be, at least on me, and somehow in this picture it looks like I have a belly, when I don't actually (well, I do of course, but in this picture it looks like my belly protrudes further than my chest does) Maybe that's a function of where I've belted it? I'll play around with the dress a little bit more in the next few days.
