Modgirl, it scares me a bit too - I've never found that multi-functional items (like the American Apparel Bandeau dress) end up working quite right, and I wind up constantly readjusting them and not wearing them often. BUT I'm so excited about this company, and I think that the rest of their line will be more fitted, structured, and unifunctional while still being versatile (not a shirt/dress/skirt/scarf/whatever else), so I'm taking a chance on the versalette.

Kate, thanks for sharing this. It is a nice idea and I'm looking forward to seeing what else they come up with. Honestly the sac scares me a bit but hopefully their later stuff will be more fitted or structured. I wish them the best.

I've been following the creation of {r}evolution apparel apparel for a while, and they just started their kickstarter campaign. They're creating a minimal, versatile, sustainable, US made fashion line! Nothing to be bought yet, but assuming that they meet their kickstarter goal you can buy their first piece for $75. I've been doing a ton of research on eco options, and {r}evolution apparel is the project I've been most excited about!

You can find out more about them at their website: http://www.revolutionapparel.me/home/
