Even with thick socks. NEXT.&nbsp;</p> <p>The FS Sloan Bootie in one size up, however, shows real promise. I have a cushioned insole ready to cut and insert to see how that works...just need a few minutes to do it.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>Also, I've seen the plaid jacket come back in stock in various sizes,&nbsp; probably when with people returning them, but they go quickly. My two pairs of Blondo Lilas (discontinued) are a PERFECT fit so I'm hoping to get that...and I'll not keep these new ones if they don't work. I have plenty of time to keep searching for cognac booties. </p> <p><b>Firecracker</b>, yes Blondo sizing is so inconsistent from one model to another.&nbsp; It's as if they use completely different lasts for different styles of boots. I just tried on the next size up in the blondo at a local Nordstrom. I brought an insert and thin socks and the heel was a bit loose. They didn’t have the cognac so I ordered it to try at home. Blondos work so well for me that it’s worth trying at home with thicker socks. They didn’t have the Franco sarto in the store so I ordered a size up there too. I wasn't too invested in NAS this year, so didn't order much, and mostly ordered things that were already on my wish list.&nbsp;</p> <p>The <u>plaid jacket</u> was completely sold out in ANY sizes by the time I was able to log in for early access, even though I was there in the first few minutes. It's easy to see why it has been so well loved. It was an impulse thing so I'm not too upset and am casually stalking it. I do want a new blazer but I'm thinking a solid one would be more versatile.</p> <p>Next is the <u>Bernardo puffe</u>r that <b>Suz </b>already reviewed; I agree with her comments. Angie marked it a top pick in dark green; I ordered it in black. Not all companies offer petite sizing in puffers and I already like this brand that does.&nbsp; However, I prefer a detachable collar and a two-way zipper, and it has neither. Also, the way they do the shaping (it's nicely shaped) means that there are whole pieces on each side that won't be very warm.&nbsp; I'm in the market for a replacement for an older black puffer jacket but it has to have a detachable collar, two-way zip, and be very warm, so I'll look later in the year. This is going back.</p> <p>Blondo <b>Lidia</b> - does not fit right. I have Blondo <b>Lila&nbsp;</b>booties that are just about the most comfortable booties I own, but the style has been discontinued. These <b>Lidia</b> booties do NOT fit right, the toe is crowded yet the heel fit is just right. I've found that some Blondo styles fit me extremely well, others not at all, and this is in the poor fit camp. Back they go. I do want some cognac or brown booties for fall so will keep looking.</p> <p>I'm mulling these <u>Franco Sarto Sloan booties</u>. They are great looking and pretty comfortable. I need to order a half size up to be able to add a cushioning insert, but first I need to decide if the western look is "me". Leaning toward yes. I see that Angie has marked them a top pick.&nbsp;</p> <p>Back to my massive sandal hunt......(you may have noticed all the tan sandal finds in the last week or so...:-) )&nbsp; </p>
