I wore them with my problematic Vince slip-on reptile sneakers the other day and they seemed to stay put, and the sneakers didn’t rub the way they have in the past (even Body Glide doesn’t help enough). So if these socks save those sneakers, I think they’re a winner for me!</p> <p>However, I know what you mean — I think there is a little extra fabric in the heel (it tried to bunch up above the shoe when I slipped the shoes on). I think I could have gotten away with a S instead of M (I wear an 8 shoe but slightly narrow/low-volume feet). The fit in the fore and mid foot is superb but wide in heel if you have duck-ish feet. Not seamless so may rub if you are sensitive.</p> <p>Did have a silicone band at the heel but did not budge like the others I’ve tried. BUT size down. Still plenty of fabric for small feet.</p> <p>I like enough to keep wearing. The wide heel cup tho means I’m not buying more. </p>
