This is NOT for a high volume foot. My plain old average feet filled the shoe. Not uncomfortably so, but if I had even slightly wide feet they wouldn't work.</p> <p>The materials are nice for the price point. The calfhair is as good or better than similar priced brands such as Sam Edelman. The leather is also as good or better than comparable brands.&nbsp;</p> <p>They are comfortable on my feet, almost walk the dog the comfortable. They might even have been walk the dog comfortable except for the reason I am sending them back. The soles are super smooth and it's slippery on my wood floors at home. It would be like ice skating on the waxed floors at work. I also would forever be worrying even in parking lots and the like. Would have been an A+ bootie for me with a different sole.</p>
