The material is cotton/silk, but it actually feels like a light polyester blend. The waistband is a thick strip of bare elastic, like the top of men's Fruit of the Loom underwear. To say it looks cheap up close is a major understatement. I could see this getting scrunched up in my belly fat when I sit down. </p> <p>At 17", it is super short. I am 5' tall and I felt like it was barely mid-thigh. This is the regular length, it doesn't even come in Petite. Maybe that would work for some people, but it just doesn't fit my lifestyle. The real deal breaker for me is that the fabric is white and completely, utterly see through.
