I think it will be such a nice pop of colour with your outfits, I wouldn’t worry about the colour - I think it is more about proportions. Like Donna says. I personally don’t wear very small bags because I feel I look bigger in them and much prefer large bags. </p> <p>I have owned many Le Pliages in a few colours, but mostly the ones with short handles (the hand held styles not expandable) as my shoulders hurt when I carry heavier bags on my shoulder. I usually have a smaller bag inside for keys, phone and wallet to be able to pick them up quicker. </p> <p>The expandable looks like such a practical idea. I take public transportation to the store and love that it's so light and holds so much. On my way back, I have it zipped smaller since all I will be carrying is my return receipt, newspaper, and maybe a clutch. I would have bought the red, except that my light gray bag from a couple of NASs ago is still in good shape other than needing a bit of cleaning.</p> <p>FWIW, I think the bold color will bring more attention to the bag than to your frame. Don't worry! I also think a teeny tiny bag is the thing that will make you look bigger. It is looking a little battered after all that wear, but mostly in the corners in the very bottom and on the inside. I constantly put very heavy items in it, so I don't begrudge it the wear.</p> <p>I love the red. My face is smiling. Now I need to decide whether I am comfortable bringing the attention to my wide frame with a bright red bag. I hadn't thought about it before. I'll put my items in it later and decide.</p> <p>Despite identical construction, the inside of the red bag is not red, it is a yellowy tan to my eye, although the stitching is red. As a result, it looks less finished. However, due to the lighter color, I think it will be easier for me to locate my items inside.</p> <p>Negatives I knew going in, no key ring attachment and my phone falls out of the pocket into the bag.</p> <p>Pros, very light weight, strong, holds too much.</p> <p> </p>
