Perhaps they'd work for you, Raisin. I would just advise wearing them around the house enough to determine if they're going to work for you. The leather is on the stiff side, not soft and buttery like other shoes. Some have even duplicated the style because the comfort factor is very high. It's such a pity that these did not work out. You were right to return them. I just bought these for an upcoming trip to Europe. I've only worn them around the house so far, where they've been super comfie, but I will definitely put them to the test well in advance of the trip. Were you wearing socks might I ask? I bought a pair to wear on a trip where I'd be doing a fair amount of walking. They were comfortable enough on in the store, but after walking less than a mile in them, I ended up with huge blisters and sores. I was crippled by these shoes! I guess I've been spoiled by the nice shoes I generally buy, because I never have that much trouble breaking in shoes and frankly, I'm just not willing to put these shoes back on my feet ever again.</p> <p>Thank goodness I bought them from Nordies, because they assure me that they'll take them back. I feel a bit bad about returning shoes that I wore outside, but I didn't bargain on them hurting me so badly. </p>
