I'm thinking of ordering this $16 hat off Amazon (comes in three or four colors and many styles and colors of bands) so I can keep it around for when DD visits since she has discoid lupus and needs to wear a hat to keep her hair. After I got my first skin cancer at 41 three years ago, my husband got a hat that he looks silly in and he keeps it in the car with my sun hat. I never have an excuse for not wearing a hat now. In my experience fedora styles look and feel best when worn down fairly close to the eyebrows. I think for me, about 1" above, but I have a tall forehead. (And I also wear them tilted, so they're nearly touching eyebrow on one side.) I think these definitely have potential - they are SHARP! - but we need to be sure about the fit and placement as well. I don’t do dainty, but I felt the bracelet overwhelmed me plus was a little heavy so it went back. If you are of average or large stature this would be great. </p> <p>I ordered three hats: Black Treasure &amp; Bond with a snakeskin band (shown in tan in the Finds), Nordstrom medium heather gray, and Something Navy charcoal gray. All have an inner ribbon to adjust the size.</p> <p>The medium gray has a raw edged brim which seems to get easily misshapen. Out!</p> <p>I’m thinking the brim on the black one is a little too broad so overwhelms me. Do you agree?</p> <p>I like the charcoal fedora the best but I am not used to assessing hats. I’ve shown it with three toppers. What do you think? </p>
