It sounds really nice. I stalked a grey and tan alpaca EF duffle a year or two ago. The quality of materials and design was excellent. She's a beauty.&nbsp; </p> https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/review-ef-leather-sleeve-detail-sweater-coat#post-1831927 Tue, 01 Aug 2017 10:52:28 +0000 gryffin 1831927@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ <p>So the upshot of my terrier-like coat stalk is that 4 sizes of the EF sweater coat are enroute to me. &nbsp;SM, PP, PS and my usual size finally popped back at 6 am today the XS. &nbsp;Yesterday got to try on the first which was size small. &nbsp;This is a unique piece. &nbsp;There is a modern but also a retro 1950's vibe. &nbsp;Think Jackie O and Camelot. &nbsp;It's a dressy lady coat, quiet, understated but edgy because of the modern cut and leather sleeves. &nbsp;The mock neck begs for a formal pin. &nbsp;This could easily be worn as a coat dress or indoor blazer if you run cold, as I do. &nbsp;What it's not designed for is heavy outdoor use. &nbsp;I think that's what threw some of the people who bought it. &nbsp;Pockets would have added bulk, the material is substantial but light, it's not felted wool and not at all a blanket coat. &nbsp;Early fall, spring, indoor winter or under another swing or cocoon coat. The coat is a tightly woven wool, feels like a very substantial merino with a smooth nap. &nbsp;Snaps are heavy gauge and substantial so I would be careful in using them as not to overly stress the fabric. &nbsp;Light but warm. &nbsp;The body is A-line but with a fitted shoulder but sleeves are roomy enough to allow under layers. &nbsp;I think this is incredibly unique. &nbsp;Dressy, formal (but can easily swing casual), ladylike, modern. &nbsp;Religious, conference, winter event, evening coat for anything but most formal, dressy casual, evening out, work for a more formal environment. &nbsp;I haven't seen anything like it before. &nbsp;The small was a size up from my usual but the shoulders were just a little roomy. &nbsp;The reviewer who said the body was "huge" are not accustomed to a-line styling (think EF dressy silk coats, and KS franny coats - it's a 1950's mod vibe updated) and is best appreciated closed and in motion. &nbsp;Snaps stop about 1/2 down which is graceful. This is one of the pieces that is missing in my wardrobe - the missing link between dressy cardi and corporate/edgy blazer. &nbsp;I will try on the PP, PS, and XS and see which gives the best fit but if your style runs formal and you like black this is a unique piece which might be a good investment. &nbsp;For what it's worth, it was worth the aggravation and stalking!! </p>
