Thanks, ladies! #1 it is.

Joy, I have not seen the purple in person so I don't know. All the pictures I have seen are modeled on blond women and I can't help but see this pretty color working on somebody like Laura or Sarah rather than me.

Yet another vote for #1. Is the purple color as fushia as the photo?

I really love your maternity style, I love the first dress. I can't believe we are now considering nursing and a postnatal figure. Nine months really flies by when it is somebody else's pregnancy!

Love both dresses! The first one is gorgeous! However, I don't know you well, but I'll speak based on my personal experience, when pregnant, we all like to show the tummy, when nursing, I didn't like people to noticed that I was not on my best shape.. I choosed clothes carefully to cover the mid-section and with this dress is difficult to cover the tummy area.

I like the first one best too, and not just for the fab style but also for the great nursing access. I think that one looks easiest for nursing --- I had a top with an empire access like that and it was my favorite.

It just amazes me how far maternity dressing has come.
I think you should go with your instinct because it serves you well.

Time to report back on the maternity/nursing dresses I ordered. First I ordered these to try:

1. http://www.mothersboutique.com/hudsondress.html in black

2. http://www.mothersboutique.com/vannadress.html in black

3. http://www.mothersboutique.com/da34slmaanud.html in wood violet

Obviously the first two are virtually identical but for the cowl neck. I'll get back to this in a minute. First the review.

The jersey on all of these dresses is really nice. Of course, I have not laundered them so I can't speak to that at this point. They are all very flattering and drape well but they do cling right onto your body. The thing I am most excited about is that the nursing access is BRILLIANT. As a extended nurser I have always had to put away my dresses for years in the past and so I am very excited about these options. Lastly, all of these dresses are long, particularly the last one which is very long on me.

Now-- which ones to keep? The third one will have to go back because it is too large in the chest and they are sold out of the smaller size. The other two fit like my blue dress and honestly I want to keep both but they are basically the same. #1 comes in purple-- I like the color but my instinct tells me I don't really like it for my coloring. #2 comes in brown but I'm not too excited about the prospect of dark brown jersey. #1 is more expensive and would need to be hemmed but the cowl neck is really nice. Please help!

Thanks.
