&#060;p&#062;I did an assignment on this topic when I was 14, one of only a few in my life I was completely happy with when handing in, and for which I got 100% (It could be argued I put in WAY too much effort for what was basically just the theory component of a Clothing and Fabrics elective!)&#060;/p&#062;

				<description>&#060;p&#062;I do not remember if anyone has posted this before but it is a very enlightening&#038;nbsp;lecture by H. Kristina Haugland, associate curator of Costume and Textiles at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, about women's underwear. It is an hour long so grab your coffee, tea or glass of wine and enjoy.&#038;nbsp;&#038;nbsp;My paternal grandmother, photo #1, probably had not idea of this history on her wedding day in 1917 when this photo was taken. And I love the 1870 corset cartoon, photo # 2, and the 1961 Miller beer add showing the proper lady who drinks beer. Maybe a martini but not beer, I think.&#060;/p&#062;
